Dedicated Commercial Recovery Inc has fed one million children. They partnered with Feed My Children for three years. They have donated one million meals to children around the globe. Shawn Smith is the CEO of Dedicated Commercial Recovery. He stated that he hopes that this will encourage more people to give back to their community.
This one million meal milestone shows that a debt company can use its services for the good. Dedicated Commercial Recovery Inc started giving back to the community in 2015. The company started off by donating one meal for every account. They decided to set the bar higher. They donated one meal for every meal for every new account that was placed with them.
Today, Dedicated Commercial Recovery donates 10 meals for every new account that is placed with them. Additionally, 10 meals are donated for every non-collector that is on staff. Additionally, Dedicated Commercial Recovery attends events to give back to the community, such as the Pack at the Park event and FMSC Annual Gala.
Company Faces Some Skeptism
Even though the company has done a lot of good, they have been met with some skepticism. However, Shawn says that he still believes that there is space to give even when the profit is down. He also says that focusing on the values is a great way to help the company grow.
The collection industry is known for its aggressive behavior and being a nuisance to people. Shawn wants to change people’s perception of the collection industry. Dedicated employees pack meals and send meals overseas several times a year. They want to send one million more meals overseas next year.
