A way to starting an acceptable source of income or the first step toward international business might seem like people’s full-time jobs these days. However, a personal business can be done anywhere, be it in the house, private vehicles, or office. What you need are a focus, smartphone, and data connection. It might be farfetched, but nowadays, personal enterprises have been converted into gigantic organizations. Here are some of the businesses and their origins.

Houzz

It is famous for upgrading homes; hub Houzz is an entire interior and exterior design for anyone’s liking. In addition, they have a professional directory for improving the house, a shopping guide, a user forum, and many more, all for home improvement. So it’s humbling to discover that such a frequently used website started from a simple beginning.

In 2009, Houzz’s founders had difficulties with their own home and how to improve it. They started with an average website to get ideas and contractors, and it worked. The following year, that small project became a fully-fledged company and created its app. The company has over 40 million users per month around the globe. It has been recognized as one of the billion-dollar companies around.

Apple

Apple started with the collective brains of two individuals who had cleared high school with diplomas and focused on changing the world. In the early 1970s, they worked together in their father’s garage to assemble computers during their free time. Jobs operated at Atari, Wozniak at Hewlett Packard, and back in 1976, they first finalized the Apple I. One could never have imagined that they’d have one of the best tech companies around in less than six years.

Unfortunately, apple’s value went under in the late 1980s, there was a massive layoff in the company, and Job as the CEO was ousted. He was reinstated in 1997; the company realized he was the brain behind the apple. It grew dramatically from a small share in the market to worldwide technology. Currently, the company is valued at around $750 billion.

Instagram

It got started in 2010 as a photo-sharing app. Two friends came together and created an app that involved photography from smartphone cameras. They registered a company and got a small place where they shared an office in the evening and perhaps weekend when not on their official duties. There were challenges in the initial stage.

They changed the name of Instagram and focused on mobile photography, and left the app. Fortunately, Facebook bought the company, and since then, the company has improved because it’s part of Facebook. It’s arguably one of the most popular apps of all time, currently with 700 million users.
